TIEVisionFaceDetector.setDetectRotated

TIEVisionFaceDetector.setDetectRotated

Declaration

procedure setDetectRotated(value: bool32); safecall;

Description

The neural network finds faces tilted up to about 60 to 70 degrees. When enabled, the image is also searched rotated by 90, 180 and 270 degrees, so faces at any angle are found, e.g. in photos that are sideways or upside down, or of people lying down.
Faces found in more than one orientation are only returned once. Their landmarks are in the coordinates of the original image, so getRollAngle gives the angle of the face (e.g. about 90 degrees for a face turned on its side). The rectangle is the upright bounding box of the face.
Detection is about four times slower.

Default: False

Example

// Find faces in a photo that may be sideways or upside down
detector := IEVisionLib.createFaceDetector();
detector.setDetectRotated( True );
faces := detector.detect( ImageEnView1.IEBitmap.GetIEVisionImage(), IEVisionRect( 0, 0, 0, 0 ));
