Hi Nigel,

For example, if I add more than one layer to a background image and delete one of the layers with DEL, the index of the remaining layers is reordered and one of the remaining layers is selected.

Two questions:

1. How or in which event can I handle it if after deleting a layer one of the remaining layers is selected?

2. How can I handle the DEL key when deleting layers and can it be disabled or changed?

Could you write a C# example of the above?

Thanks.

Regards,
Deeron

Hi Deeron

For the next IEvolution update, we'll make Keyboard Shortcuts optional so the Delete key can be handled yourself.

Hi Nigel,

Yes, I know that LayerNotify is the only event handler for this, that's my problem:

When I delete a layer with DEL key and then one of the remaining layers is automatically selected, the LayerNotify event does not occur, i.e. in this case I cannot check the layer selection via LayerNotifyEventArgs (LayerEvent.Selected).

Hi Deeron

1. At this time only the LayerNotify Event is available to react to layer behaviour in IEvolution:

2. Unfortunately there is not an option for that
