Hi,

I am trying to connect to the local IP camera which is connected to a switch with a static IP address (192.168.0.10) and user name admin, I am using the CaptIPCamera demo.
I cannot connect to the camera (nothing happens, no error message), I can ping it and I can connect with software installed with the camera, I I've turned off the firewall and the antivirus. I have not used an IP camera before.

Thank's for help.

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to make the camera publicly accessible.
In the meantime i installed IP Camera Viewer and I can see the camera with these parameters

The "I am using the ONVIF Login" must be checked to work.

I don't know if it can help ?

Regards,

Choukri

Hi

Are you able to make it publicly accessible, so I can test it from here?

Hi

You can see from your screenshot that 192.168.0.10 is not the location of an image file. It is the location of a web interface. Somehow you must find the URL of the image itself. Can you right click the image and choose "View Image" and if so, does it animate/update?

Hi

Are you able to view the camera from a web browser by joining the values as followed:

http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@IP_ADDRESS/PATH

e.g.

ht tp://user:pass@60.33.230.11/nphMotionJpeg?Resolution=640x480
