Hello,

Is it possible with ImageEn to distinguish between pages scanned or saved as tiff
if they are only text or if they contain images?

Sincerely
Peter

The short answer: I'm sorry, it is not possible.

However, it depends by the image type. If it is colored, you could look at the entire page histogram. An histogram with several color shades may (or not?) contain an image.

Using IEVision you could call TIEVisionOCR.getRegions with "textOnly = False": an empty string for reasonable large rectangle may (or not?) indicate an image.
