As Delphi XE6 Update 1 got released, Imageen poped up a error when Delphi was loading, stating that a Entrypoint wasn't there...
So i tried recompiling Imageen, but it constantly tells me that different files are missing...

Why can't we just recompile and reinstall Imageen without fidling around with paths and settings of the DPKs to get rid of errors and fix path issues?

So either we do this every time a new Delphi patch gets released and every time Imageen gets updated...

FYI, we have now released an updated version of v5.1.1 that supports XE6 Update 1.

Hi

Component developers must always releases new versions of their component for all breaking releases of Delphi/C++. Generally a breaking release will only occur with major Delphi updates, but it seems XE6 Update 1 does also.

ImageEn, as with most component developers, do not mix compiled and source units for a number of reasons, but the main one being that it does not make sense to recompile all of its packages every time your build your application.

For those users that want to customize or manually compile the ImageEn source then some files will need to be moved (as outlined in the documentation) and for future updates, it may be easier simply to download the source code and then recompile your packages.
