Hi,

We have different versions of our applications running and I noticed that annotations created with new ImageEN version (5.1.0) are not visible with a version of our application which has old version of ImageEN (3.1.1).

Is this normal, is there something I can do to make the annotations from the new version compatible with an old version?

Thank you,

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy

This is a difficult one. In general, applications cannot load the data files created in newer versions of itself, because at the time the older application was created it was simply not possible to anticipate all the changes that may take place in the future.

ImageEn is the same. For safety, it does not attempt to load IEV files of a format that is newer than the current one.

Hi,

I have sent the email with the examples, it's with all annotations.

Loading an annotation file made with old version on new version works ok.
Loading an annotation file made with new verion on old version does not work.

I have made a sample project with most basic functionnality to make sure it was not our code the problem and I reproduce the problem easily.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy

What sort of annotations are you referring to?

Can you email us some example files.
