Apparently the code that creates PDF files from images is using a deprecated feature: "Procedure Set". According to the Adobe PDF spec, chapter 10 section 1, use of "Procedure Set" is obsolete beginning with PDF 1.4 (Acrobat 5). This has not caused any problems, until now. A customer reports not being able to import the PDF we produce into their ERP system.

I didn't see any options for controlling this and/or setting the desired PDF version of the output file. Does anything like that exist? If not, are there any plans for "updating" the PDF saving functionality to a more current PDF version?

Hi

No, I'm afraid not. It won't be till a later release.

Is there any information you can provide with regard to timing?

Hi

Unfortunately that is due to our PDF implementation. We will update it to the current PDF in a later release.
