I've just switched from the now deprecated ImageEnVideoView to ImageEnView and noticed that *.MPG videos (the old MPEG1 format) don't play correctly anymore. It takes a very long time to load the file and then I only get sound but no picture. Anybody out there who can confirm this? I'm not sure whether this is a codec problem or a bug in ImageEn.

D2010 Pro, Win 8.1 (64bit), K-Lite Codec Pack installed

Thanks
-Uwe

Thanks, Nigel. I investigated a little further and it seems as if it's an issue with Windows 8.1 :

Hi Uwe

I expect something is askew with your directshow filters. Please try the links at:

Hi Nigel,

This one for example:

ImageEn -> Demos -> Display -> VideoPlayer -> VideoPlayer.dpr

I get sound, but no picture. Loading and stopping even smaller MPG video clips (in the range of 100 MB) takes considerable time - approx. 5 secs on a very fast system. Latest ImageEn version.
