Hello,

I have an outstanding issue from about 1 year ago still. I am using IEvolution verion 4.4.1.0 with C# .NET, compiling with VS2005.

1. When loading thumbnails of the PDF images using the IEMulti component, I
get flickering while the images are loaded. I am using this snippet of code:

ieMulti1.ImageList.Clear();
ieMulti1.ImageList.FillFromDirectory(reportPath);

How can this behavior be corrected? Is there a correction to ImageMagick which will fix this?

2. The PDF renderings using the IEvolution library with ImageMagick is still poor. In order for a better view of the images, I am forced to use instead the
Adobe Acrobat control: AxAcroPDFLib.AxAcroPDF. This is a much better substitute, but then again I cannot use the IEvolution classes on the PDF.

I see there is an IEvolution 5.0 update to the library. If these issues aren't fixed, I don't know if it is necessarily worth the upgrade.

Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike

Unfortunately because of the integration with ImageMagick, PDF files do not render as cleanly as native formats. There is unlikely to be any improvement with the v5 release.
