Hi,

I need to "blend" two images (same sizes) using selection mask with some feather radius. The idea is to smooth selection boundaries between two images.

I've tried using CopyWithMask2 function but it copies part of image from the origin.

Any other suggestion?

Hi Nigel,

Yes, that's exactly what I need. I usually do this using IPL's (or IPP's) composite functions that actually blend two images through gray-scale mask.

However, as I'm writing a program for "User Demos and Applications" topic I can not use Intel's libraries. So, what's left is walking through scanlines.

Thanks,
Siniša

Hi Spectric

Have you considered iterating through the scanlines of the selection masks to set one to a "merge" of the two?

Am I following what you mean?
