Posted - Nov 16 2016 : 14:20:24 I have recently built a Win64 bit application using TImageEnView and find that the ielib64.dll and ievision64.dll files are required and yet when I created Win32 apps in the past there was no such requirements - please explain.
I do not want to use dll's.

For 64bit applications, ImageEn requires ielib64.dll or ievision64.dll.

Posted - Nov 16 2016 : 15:08:56 Sorry. It is just not possible to open images with Win64 without the dll so what you are looking for is just not supported. All you have to do is to just add the appropriate dll to the exe folder and it will function correctly. In addition Win32 apps will load faster with the dll, but without the dll if will open the file correctly.
"in the past there was no such requirements" This is not true as far as I remember Win64 apps have always required the dll.
In addition, the IEVision dll is only required if you are using IEVision. Without IEVision the IEVision dll is not required at all if you are only using ImageEn.
