Hi there,

first post as ievision user. Using C++ XE4 32 bit and I am not able to run the demo, since the line

OCR->recognize(image, IEVisionRect(0, 0, 0, 0), false, str);

throws an AV.

Read of address 00000000, so it appears that something is not initialized ?
The registered (i.e.: not an evaluation) DLL is in place, same path of executable.

Thanks

/Claudio

Hi Nigel,

ievision dll is 3.0.8.0 (32 bit)
Imageen was at 7.0.0, so I updated it to 7.0.1, but no way. AV still popping up.

Update:
I am getting AVs only with images that are outside the demo folder. If I copy my images in the demo folder and load from there, all is working.

Hi Claudio

That is odd. Can you right-click the ievision.dll, select properties and confirm what version it is. Also, what version of ImageEn are you using?
