I have a significant number of images in a database. I want to show thumbnails of them in the app.

Rather then pulling down the entire image, I want to store the thumbnails in the database as well. Technically I will have two fields in the one table - one for the image and the other for the thumbnail.

I want to bulk convert all images. The conversion is to reduce the dimensions and possibly just save it as a compressible image format.

Are there any suggestions or a good demo?

Hi

That's fine. TIEDBMultiBitmap doesn't mind if you point to the thumbnail or image field in the database.

There is not a demo for bulk creation of thumbnails, but see the thumbnail functions in iexHelperFunctions for guidance.
