Greetings,

I would like to add the capability of scanning cash register receipts to my app. As you are aware the receipts can vary in length from 4" long to 24" or longer.

Can ImageEn be used to scan these receipts when the length of the document is unknown?

Any example Delphi code or tips appreciated.

I will be using a NeatDesk Scanner to acquire the image. The scanner is twain compliant.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike

You should be able to use the OCR function of IEVision to do this. I cannot see any reason the size should cause problems as long as you scan at a high enough resolution.
