I saw that IEVision is able to isolate pixels in a demo showing nuts and bolts. Can it also be used to isolate pixels differences like shades and color differences? I am dealing with a known color shade range in an image and I need to be able to isolate it by either highlighting those pixel ranges or drawing a rectangle around it like the nuts and bolts demo.

Thanks in advance.

Andy

Hi Nigel,

Thanks for the response. I will send you a sample image of what I am dealing with. I look forward to your input.

Thanks again.

Hi Andy

It's hard to say how effective it is without seeing an image. But you are best to try the demo and see how it performs for yourself. Depending on your image, you might benefit from some color manipulation before the blob detection.
