just a questionmark rolling on top of my head.

are
ImageEnView1.IEBitmap
and
ImageEnView1.Layers[0].Bitmap

refers to same memory address ? or they are two synchronized clones ?

Hi

Yes, when ImageEnView1.LayersCurrent = 0 (i.e. there is only one layer and/or the background is selected) then ImageEnView1.IEBitmap is a reference to ImageEnView1.Layers[0].Bitmap.
