We have now released the ImageEn v15.1.0 update to our image editing and display library for Delphi/C++Builder. This update is free if you purchased a license or extension after 1 July 2025:

Top Ten Enhancements in ImageEn v15.1.0


1. Much improved support for ICC color profiles. They can now be applied or rendered on demand for JPEG, PNG, TIFF and PSD files (even if loaded via WIC)



2. Better styling and performance for ImageEnView rulers, including transparent rulers that hover over the image



3. The cursor can now appear as crosshairs over the image for easier alignment



4. Improved support for passwords in Zip and PDF files including local properties and events for TImageEnView.IO and TImageEnMView.MIO

5. Security work to protect against malicious embedded code in ZIP, PDF and SVG files

6. Significant implementation of defensive code patterns to make code more robust, e.g. overflow checking and memory protection

7. PDF Document Permissions are now available for PdfViewer

8. Support for TIFF files with WebP compression

9. Many code optimizations and performance tweaks from in-depth code analysis

10. Signficant improvements to the documentation, including thousands of new code examples
