Hi

When I load an animated GIF into a TImageEnView using LoadFromFile and set Playing to true, it plays correctly.

However, if I store the image in my executable as a resource and load it using (C++)

LoadFromResource(Application->ExeName, "RCDATA", "ANIM_GIF", ioGIF);

it loads ok but is not animated.

Is there a way around this or is this by design?

Thanks

Andy Bell

Hi Andy

TImageEnView.Playing only supports files that it can access via a path. You can either save the file to a temp folder and then set playing, or use a TImageEnMView and enable Playing.
