We currently have pre-releases of ImageEn v15.4.0 and IEVision v9.9.0. These should not be used for production code, but email us directly if you want to test them.
Top Ten Enhancements in ImageEn v15.4.0
1. WIA 2.0 support, including separate flatbed and feeder items
2. Numerous improvements to MMF and DirectShow support for better video capture and display
3. Many PDF improvements, including updating the library to v8076, saving of PDF meta-data, specification of size and color of PDF text objects, more properties for attachments and bookmarks, and automatic handling of clipping paths
4. TImageEnMView and TIEMultiBitmap can find similar and near-duplicate images using IEVision perceptual hashing
5. New TIEBitmapHelper Face Helper methods using IEVision: DetectFaces, LevelByEyes, CropToFace and BlurFaces
6. Review and fixes for all language localization strings
7. New global option to control positioning/centering of all ImageEn dialogs (Twain, WIA, DirectShow, Fonts, Printing, etc)

Top Fifteen Enhancements in IEVision v9.9.0
1. All libraries upgraded for reliability, performance and security improvements: OpenCV to 4.14, Tesseract to 5.5.3, Leptonica to 1.87 and Boost to 1.92
2. ZBar upgraded to 0.23 for security and reliability improvements, plus added support for GS1-DataBar, Code-93 and Codabar
3. OCR preprocessing in one call: optimize and clean up document images for more accurate OCR
4. Many new document methods: Sauvola local adaptive binarization (for documents with uneven lighting), Background normalization (flatten uneven lighting and shadows), line removal, Document deskew and skew measurement, speckle and border removal
5. Neural network face detection (YuNet) to find tilted, turned and small faces more reliably than Haar cascades, and returns five facial landmarks: eyes, nose tip, mouth corners

12. Shi-Tomasi and Harris corner detection for image alignment
13. Poisson seamless cloning to blend a masked source into an image
14. Many other new methods: convexHull for shape analysis, Delaunay triangulation for mesh warping and morphing and warpAffine for affine transformations
15. Updated all IEVision demos including new demos for QR, Aruco and Charuco
