I'm trying to make a photo-realistic working clock/stopwatch. My main image is from an Adobe .psd file which contains various layers for the face, markings hand etc.

I want to animate the hands (hour/minutes/seconds) with shadows but am not too sure on the best way to do this. The hands are held in the 12 o'clock position so I would need to copy and rotate them.

Is there a good demo/example for working with layers in this way?

Thanks

It's alright. It's probably more processor hungry but I managed to do this with regular GDI+
