Earlier I used the nws-components tools in conjunction with ImageEn. There was no need to add an extra layer to use this tools.

In the demos, that comes with 8.x, there is always a new layer added, to work with the aquivalent tools (eg. brushtool).

So my question, how do I use the tools in an allready layered image? I don't want to show the help layer in the layer-list component. Is that possible?

Hi Harry

The brush tool should not require a layer (or even affect the layer stack). It should only paint onto the current layer.

Can you tell me how to reproduce the issue?
