We receive many color photos of documents, and I'm trying to convert them to black and white tiffs. ImageEnView1.Proc.WhiteBalance_AutoWhite and Proc.Contrast work well on photos with perfect lighting (no shadows), but photos with shadows are a problem. I've also experimented with ImageENView1.Proc.ConvertToBWThreshold with some success, but it takes a combination of many adjustments and experimenting for each photo. I know this is possible with third party apps like CamScanner and ScanTailor, so I'm sure there's a way to do it with ImageEn.

Any suggestions?

Hi

Did you try any of the AutoImageEnhance* methods before converting to B+W?
