Is it possible to have layers that are not shown in TImageEnLayerMView?
Some kind of hidden (internal) layers.

TIA,
Siniša

Hi

Yes, there is no property (at this stage) to exclude a layer from TImageEnLayerMView, so you can just use tag for this.

Layer.Tag := ord( showThisLayer );

function TMyForm.IELayerMView1IncludeLayer(Sender: TObject; LayerIndex: integer; Layer: TIELayer; var Include: Boolean);
begin
  Include := Layer.Tag = 1;
end;

Hi Nigel,

Tag property seems a good approach.
However, I still must check tag value inside IncludeLayer event, right?

Hi Sinisa

It would depend what rule determines whether a layers is to be hidden or not.

If it is too slow to check in the event, then just use the tag property:

Thanks Yogi.

So, in order to hide some layers (not only mask) what would be the best approach:
to use tag or group them under same group ID?
