Posted - Mar 15 2021 : 04:12:29 I have a problem with QR CODE and Germany language.
Our QR Code contains letters of the German alphabet.
For example "Werfstraße".
I get only 'Werftstra' and no more.
Global setting OCR for language: Germany language.
What should I do to read the entire QR Code?
Thank you
Iryna

Posted - Mar 22 2021 : 09:25:21 P.S. It looks like ievision has problems reading ISO-8859-1 character encodings. |

Posted - Mar 22 2021 : 02:53:41 Hi Nigel "So you were able to resolve it." No. Maybe I didn't put it right. So. If we use some online service to generate QR Code, then all is OK. Online service generate QR Code with utf-8 encoding. The IEVision library recognizes the code completely. But we're using a ready-made stamp for QR-Code. We do not know what kind of encoding is used of the stamp. And the IEVision library does not recognize this QR-Code completely.
„What version of Delphi are you using?“ We're using Delphi 10.4.
Thank you Iryna

We'll need to investigate that one. Can you please post an example QR code that shows the issue.
