Hi, is there a way to change this behavior, that on painting with the brushtool and using a feathering value, that the feathering effect ist drawn directly by painting (and not after mouseupevent)?

Yes, that's the one. DelayDisplaySelection is useful to improve performance.

OK, found it by myself with the option DelayDisplaySelection to set to false.
