Hello,

The new features and improvement are great but still we have observed that IE gets slowed down when we open large PSD files. Some of the files that I am talking about 250+ MB in size. In short it speed is still less then commercial image editing software like PS and GIMP.

So I was wondering if we can somehow get IE to use systems GPU for image processing and handling. I feel this would greatly increase its performance.

So are there any possibilities of forcing IE to use GPU if available?

TIA

Probably not in the near future, I'm afraid.

Hello Nigel,

Ok understood.

Are there any plans to add support for using GPU in near future?

TIA

Hi Yogi

At this time, ImageEn only uses GPU for some specific functions.
