 How to allow only one selection?

Hello,

I have a need to allow user to create only one selection (rectangle marquee selection).

Once the user creates that selection all that they can do is move it around, resize it. They cannot remove selection or add new selection.

How can we do this?

You must be doing something incorrectly in code because if you create a new project, add a TImageEnView or TImageEnVect to the form and set the MouseInteract property to [miSelect] you can make a selection then just click on the image outside of the selection, the selection is deselected and the selection is removed.
