Greetings All,

I load both PDF and TIFF files into an ImageEnMView to show thumbnails and then the selected thumb I load into an ImageEnVect to show full size documents.

If I load a tiff I use:
ImageEnMView1.MIO.LoadFromFile(FileName);

If I load a PDF I use:
ImageEnMView1.LoadFromFileOnDemand(FileName);

Using ImageEn and WPViewPDF, I load a 1 page pdf that contains only black text on a white background. The size of the file is 16 KB. If I rotate the page 90 degrees and save it, the file size is now 24,655 KB. I'm sure that I'm doing something wrong.

I rotate and save both PDF and TIFF files with the following code:
//* Thumbnail
ImageEnMView1.Proc.Rotate(-90);
ImageEnMView1.UpdateImage(ImageEnMView1.SelectedImage);

//* Image in the document viewer
ImageEnVect1.Proc.Rotate(-90);

ImageEnMView1.MIO.SaveToFile(FileName);

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to maintain the same size file?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike

PDF files are not supported natively by ImageEn as it's a document format. WPViewPDF converts the document to an image, so if you then save it in ImageEn you are saving a PDF containing an image, not a PDF document.
