I've tried many things but i can not come to destination.
I ask you for help.
Pellets are to check by size and shape.
See attached file.
The problem consists in recognition the individual pellets!

Best regards
Fritz

Hi
you can't do that by using imageen as it doesn't contain advanced functions for pattern and objects recognition, i recommand you to use opencv library.

Thanks, you are right. Of course I have tried some functions from EmageEn. Unfortunately not with a good and acceptable succes.

In this chaotic situation is the segmentation of course difficult.
Pellets lie in all directions, and over each other.

I have also made #8203;#8203;tests with opencv, but I can not define for example 'haarcascade_pellets.xml'. Further tests will follow here.
In segmentation it is not important to really consider all the pellets, a good average is enough.
