Please tell me how I can save the image from the camera in a jpg file. And I would like before this, specify the quality of the jpg. Thank you.

Alex,

If you mean getting the images from the camera via a usb cable the only way that might work with some cameras is by using twain/WIA.

Try the CameraGetImages demo in the ..\Demos\ImageAquisition folder.
It works quite well with my Nikon P520 camera.
