I'm scanning one page in using TWAIN. I set the page size as

ImageEnView1->IO->TwainParams->StandardSize->CurrentValue = IETW_NONE;

with the hope that the page size will be set to auto. However, it only works with Fujitsu Twain but not with others like Canon and Epson. When it doesn't work, it defaults to US letter size.

Can somebody please help?

Thanks,
M.

Hi

The StandardSize property exposes the twain parameter, ICAP_SUPPORTEDSIZES. Unfortunately you will find that manufacturers often have different interpretations and implementations of the Twain standard.

Thanks! Is there a way to find out if the scanner supports auto-size?

Not that I am aware of. You would need to chase that up with the developer documentation for the individual manufacturers (though I expect they don't provide such detail, which means trial and error )
