Do they support saving PDF files? I can always convert my PDF file to TIFF file. Use IEvolution to do the markup. IEvolution does support saving PDF files though right?
I see that some read support can be made possible by using Ghostscript version 9.14.
Are there any libraries that work with IEvolution that allow for display and saving of PDF files.
I can not speak or IEVolution, but TImageEnView and TImageEnVect can add images then save as a pdf file. The signature would have to be merged into the image and then the image saved as a pdf. Coordinates of the signature can not be saved... just the images as a pdf.
There is a demo for Delphi ...\Components\ImageEn\Demos\InputOutput\PDFBuilder that shows how to save images as a pdf.
Would the PDFBuilder also work in IEvolution? Is there a compilable demo for IEvolution? I work primarily with .NET C# and very little with Delphi. We used to use ImageEN quite a bit.
Also, if we wanted to upgrade our license of IEvolution to the newest ImageEN, what would the cost be for a single developer with no source code? We use IEvolution 3.0.5.
The latest version of IEvolutions supports rendering of PDF files when ImageMagick and Ghostscript are installed. Note that the PDFs are loaded only as images.
