I loaded black-and-white tiff file.
I want to change gamma.
I use
ImageEnProc1->DoPreviews(ppeColorAdjust);
In the preview window I see my changes, bat after pressig OK there are no changes.

The same result (without changes) I see after converting file to 24 bit and using gamma correction again.

Hi

Gamma correction is not possible with black and white images, even if converted to 24bit because it only adjusts immediate values (1 to 254) and black and white have only the values 0 and 255.

Hi

For compatibility with some effects the image shown in the preview has been promoted to 24bit. We'll prevent the preview showing a gamma effect for B&W images for a coming update.

I see in your previous message:
"...even if converted to 24bit because it only adjusts immediate values (1 to 254) and black and white have only the values 0 and 255."
