Hi,
I am trying to populate a TImageEnMView in the OnCreate event of a form. The OnCreate event contains only the following code:
ImageEnMView.FillFromDirectory('F:\Photographs\Digital\A40');
If StoreType is set to ietNormal then everything works ok.
If it is set to ietFastThumb or ietThumb then the first time I run the program it hangs. 'Thread Start' and 'Thread Exit' messages appear in the Event Log in the debugger at about 1 per minute.
If I then stop the program and run again then everything appears normal and this is the case with subsequent runs in the same directory.
If I change directory then on the first run it will hang again and on subsequent runs it will work.
