 How do I compress my PDFs to make them smaller?

Hi;
With version 6.3.0, I'm scanning a page has both graphs and text as black/white in two different methods:

TIFF:(ImageEnMView.MIO.Params[0].TIFF_Compression := ioTIFF_LZW) and PDF:(ImageEnMView.MIO.Params[0].TIFF_Compression := ioPDF_LZW) and storing in database as memorystream.

The problem is size of scanned page PDF format is much bigger than TIFF format. I'm expecting less size for pdf.

Is there any way to tackle of this problem?

Hi Sami

I wouldn't expect the PDF to be smaller as they are both being stored with lossless LZW compression.

If you want to make them smaller, reduce the size of the image before saving:
