I've just installed Delphi 10.2 Tokyo and all my components and I'm trying to compile an existing project.

If I include just the imageen source path in the library path, I get this error:
F2613 Unit 'hyieutils' not found

If I also include the compiled packages path, I get this one instead:
F2063 Could not compile used unit 'iewords'

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi

When installing ImageEn it should have automatically set the appropriate paths.

Generally you do not add the source folder to Delphi (unless you want to step into ImageEn code). You need to add the \Delphi10.2Tokyo\ Package folder to your Search Path.

ImageEn\Delphi10.2Tokyo is on the search path. (It's not called Package, right?) I still have Could not compile used unit 'iewords' after removing the Source path. It's getting stuck in the interface uses clause.

Hi

Please try running the installer again, and if it still fails, send us the install log which will be in your Windows temp folder.

This was my second reinstall, and unfortunately the 3rd time was not the charm. And I don't have a likely looking log file in \windows\temp. The newest ones are several hours old and several different searches with Agent Ransack don't find anything either. I have Windows 10, in case that makes a difference.

Hi

The location should be:

c:\Users\ <YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME> \AppData\Local\Temp

Thanks for the log. Everything looks correct there. I assume if you go into Tools > Options, Delphi Options, Library, that under "Library Path" it shows:

C:\app\ImageEn\Delphi10.2Tokyo

(for Selected Platform: 32bit Windows)

Have you every installed an older version of ImageEn? Check those paths are not listed.

Try removing C:\app\ImageEn\Delphi10.2Tokyo and adding C:\app\ImageEn\Source instead.

Does that make any difference?

Either I was in the Twilight Zone, or the planets weren't properly aligned, or I really needed that vacation, because it worked when I added the source path, and now I've removed it and it's still working. I'm puzzled, but glad it's working now! Thanks for your help.
