I add my text layers this way:
fCurrentIEView.LayersCurrent :=
fCurrentIEView.LayersAdd('Type your text here', 50, clblack, 'Arial');
TIETextLayer(fCurrentIEView.CurrentLayer).AutoSize := true;
fCurrentIEView.Update;
unfortunately sometimes the text inside the layer is not drawn (it is invisible) and to make it appear I have to drag the bottom side of the layer just a little.
This does not happen always. it seems happening more on smaller images.
I am using latest version.
