In Polygon selection when you reach the limit of the view of the image, it should automatically scroll to allow selecting other points in the non-viewable part of the image. This behavior exists in the lasso tool (much less useful here), it should exist also for the polygon selection tool

Hi Francesco
I cannot reproduce that. miSelectPolygon scrolls correctly in my testing.

It scrolls with lasso and rectangular selection for example, but not with polygon, at least in my environment. But I will need to produce a demo to reproduce that.

I just tried testing polygon selection scrolling and it functions as expected.

Please check the attached file. Run first the exe directly and you will see that there is no scroll. Maybe if you recompile, you will get the scroll. So please try first my compiled exe. (project1.exe)

I just tested your compiled project. When I zoom the image so that scrollbars are shown and then make a polygon selection, the image scrolls to allow the user to select part if the image outside of the visible area. This is how it is supposed to function.

I can garantee that on my pc the scroll does not work. The image I select is enough big to have both scrollbars. They do not scroll even a bit. I cannot make a movie to prove it though. You said you zoomed but in my compiled project there is no zoom. I ask Just in case. I am working with DXE2 and latest imageen. I guess this is one of those mysterious things that happen sometimes? I do not know how to prove the/my problem.

The image I happened to test with did not have scrollbars, so I zoomed with the mousewheel until scrollbars appeared. I subsequently tested with a large image that had scrollbars without zooming. I also tested with a number of my own projects and they all behaved the same way. All of the projects functioned correctly.
I am not saying it functions correctly on your pc. I believe you. You do not have to prove it, but you must understand that to fix the problem Nigel has to be able to reproduce it.
I can not explain why it does not work on your system. I only can say it works correctly here. If it did not function correctly, I would have said that, so that Nigel could investigate. Since your system seems like the only one reporting the problem and both Nigel and I can not reproduce the problem, perhaps you should try it on other computers as well.
If you can reproduce the problem on other pc's, perhaps a solution can be found.

Hi Francesco
Even when I run the compiled demo in this zip, it correctly auto-scrolls.
Please try your demo on a different system than your own.
