Hi, I'm using the OCR features of IEVision and I realized the algorithm works much better when I'm able to identify the text areas which are part of an image, in order to apply the OCR routines only at these text area images. Is there any technique available with IEVision in order to detect and extract texts which are inside a whole image to different smaller images?

Hi

You can use the getRegions method to find the areas of the image that contain text, but as it is the same engine that performs OCR, it is unlikely to lead to improved recognition.
