If my main layer is not an image, i get an error. So it looks like i cannot flip a text layer. is that correct ?

Hi

In the upcoming 9.0.0 you can use the TIELayer.Flip property. Email me for a pre-release.

Otherwise, you need to convert the text layer to an image layer, and then call Flip.
