I have the following code to create a list of scanners:
ImageEnMView1.MIO.AcquireParams.FillListWithSources(TempList, [ieaTwain], True);
It returns a list of scanners on my computer (running Windows 10 pro) EXCEPT the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300i which I have recently installed.
I've tried rebooting. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the scanner. Still does not work.
Which folder does FillListWithSources look into to create the list?
Thank you,
André Ruest

Hi Andre
FillListWithSources is actually a call to Windows for appropriate devices. Are you sure the Fujitsu has a driver matching the bitness of your application? Do other imaging devices see the scanner?
Please generate a log file:

None of your demo programs see the scanner.
This is what the log file generates:
Twain log. Core version 7.0.0 31 3 2017
2020-09-27 15:48:31 : DestroyProxyWindow
2020-09-27 15:48:31 : DestroyProxyWindow : destroyed
2020-09-27 15:48:31 : IETW_UnloadSourceManager
2020-09-27 15:48:31 : IETW_UnloadSourceManager : Unload OK
The scanner only works with the Fujitsu-provided application.

Hi
Does any application other than Fujitsu's one support this scanner?

Nigel,
It seems no other application works except for the Fujitsu-supplied app.
Bummer!

Hi
Unfortunately it sounds like they are not using a standard Twain driver.

The devices of the Fujitsu ScanSnap series do not have a Twain or Wia driver. You can only control the scanners via the Fujitsu API:
