When I try to fill the wia items the raw files seem not to be included in the list. Can anyone confirm this problem? And if so how to solve it?

Ok I just found some more debugging of this problem. I have a Flash Card and I am using a WIA connection to retrieve the files. Now there is a single folder DCIM and inside this folder I now have a single file (NEF file).
In FillItemChildren in the IEWia unit, no file is detected.
If I add a jpeg file though in the same folder, it detects only one file (the jpeg)
This really puzzles me. Doesn't WIA allow the transfer of raw files?

I don't see yet an answer, so I dare to add another comment. I am aware that now there is WIA 2.0, but , correct me if I am worng, I think imageEn still uses WIA 1.0 ? I hope some can offer me any answer here.

At the moment only jpegs are supported. I have to investigate WIA api to check if RAW can be actually transferred in order to add this feature in a future release. |

Fabrizio Hi, thanks for your answer, well not only Jpeg are supported with the current implementation but also other file types such as tiff and png (I have successfully tested this). But I think raw files are only included in WIA v. 2.0, if you find a good way to implement that interface in Delphi I'll be glad to help you develop it, as I need it for my projects.
