Hello, is there a way to to use the DevExpress scrollbars instead the Default scrollbars? We use DevExpress Skins and it would be nice if the scrollbars of ImageEn would be skinned to. Maybe you have some workaround if not could you please consider the possibility to make ImageEn compatible in further release? For answer Thank you in advance.

Hi,

as with any other skinning solution: you will have to talk to the developers of the skinning controls to adjust their code to support third party components.

Hello, thank you for answering.... please apologize my reply but i don't share your opinion... DevExpress is not a skinning solution but an extensive component library that covers mostly all aspect of an application and it is already supported from many third party components vendors like active-query builder, ac-controls, TRichView and also other components resellers. ImageEn is a fantastic product and sincerely supporting DevExpress would be a value add for the product (on my opinion), but if you don't want support DevExpress it's your choice and i respect it. Maybe you could evaluate to provide a method to return a custom scrollbar class....this would give a bit more flexibility to programmers that use skinning engines or other third party components. Honestly considering the cost of ImageEN i expected a little more support instead of reading: "You have to talk to developer of the skinning components....".

Hi there,

first off: I'm in no way affiliated with ImageEN/Xequte - I'm just a user like you. So no need to rant... ;)

DevExpress Skins is a skinning library; therefore it's up to its developers to decide whether they want to support third party components or not. I'm using AlphaControls for example, and its source code was modified so that it works with ImageEn. If AlphaControls is able to provide support, why can't DevExpress?

I'm all against bloating ImageEN code, but that's of course my personal opinion. I'd rather have Fabrizio and Nigel work on the 64bit version and a better implementation of color management.

Hi Uwe, thanks for clarifying your position. In this case apologize for the misunderstanding, I thought you were part of the support team.
