Adding a Text layer defaults to the "Align Text on Left" button selected on the Toolbar. Want the default button to be the center button: "Align Text to Center"

Hi John

Just set a default for new layers. Either center the layer in the OnNewLayer event:

Or specify it as a default layer property:
