Using imageen 4.1.2 with the twain, WIA and connected cameras but I still do not see my Logitech camera in any list. What do I need to be able to see and capture an image from a logitech camera? I am using the logitech C910

You should have recieved a cd that contains the camera drivers. The drivers add Twain and WIA support to your copy of windows. If you did not receive a disk, check the Logitech website or contact Logitech support.

Also, if your camera appears solely as a removable hard drive in Windows explorer then you can retrieve images using DCIM. See the All Acquire demo for more detail.

We previously had imageen 3.1.2 and the camera worked properly now with 4.1.2 it cannot find the camera. Also when we use the directshow example it sees the camera and we can take a picture but if we transfer the code to delphi we no longer see the picture ( no video feed shown) but I can still take a picture. The preview does not work in Delphi. Confused as to what is happening? How can i get the video feed to show before taking a picture?

I had the same issue and discovered that LogiTech does not provide WIA or TWAIN drivers for their WebCams for Windows 7. My app works fine using XP but not using Windows 7.

I tried to find third party drivers or some work-around with no luck. It seems that LogiTech is using proprietary drivers now.

Have you found otherwise?

Bill
