I have a need to clip the screen with a custom hand drawn rectangle, then OCR the clipped image text preserving the text colour in the recognising process as well as refraining from using English Auto-Correction.

A small image example is attached.

As can be seen there are unusual spellings plus a host of descriptors, I just want what is shown plus results in colour. There are about 20 odd different colours which add additional meta info to the text.

eg.
3,765 VIRTUAL HOMEOSTASIS - ANTAGONISM \\ SYNERGISM
0,009 6-TH SYSTEM YANG-FILTER (IMMUNITY DECOMPENSATION)

Would love some example code - Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy

OCR does not return the color of text. If the text is clear enough it should not be amended. Are you seeing differently?

Hi Andy

Then you should do some color analysis of the selection, e.g. using:

And excluding white and near white colors.
