Is it possible to display TIFF images larger than 2GB using TImageEnView? In this test, we were able to display a 1.99GB TIFF file. However, TIFF files larger than 2GB resulted in the entire image display area turning black, with no error messages. Is this behavior due to the component's specifications? |

Hi
Yes, ImageEn can load TIFF files up to their maximum size of 4GB (BigTIFF format can be bigger than this).
What version of Delphi and ImageEn are you using?

Thank you, I have downloaded it now (sorry, took a while because my Japanese is very rusty).
I'll test it when I'm back in the office on Monday.

Ki ni shinaide kudasai.
I can confirm that ImageEn displays this TIFF is completely black. I'll need to pass it onto my partner for analysis.
Are you able to view this image in any viewer? If so, please send a screenshot.

Thank you for providing the beta version. However, I was unable to display images larger than 2GB. After copying it to the source folder, I created a new project and pasted ImageEnView into the form. The ImageEnVersion is displayed as 14.2.6Beta. Are there any other conditions for the images to be displayed? |

Hi
Are you sure you are using the updated source. Please add this code to a project:
ShowMessage( 'ImageEn Version: ' + IEGlobalSettings().ImageEnVersion.VersionStr );
Ensure iesettings is in your uses clause.

The library path was not set correctly. After setting it again, I was able to display TIFF images over 2GB in size. There is no problem. Thank you very much for your assistance. |
