Is there any intention to extend this feature?

For instance I could do with the ability to scroll and zoom. I am sure I could work out which tile lies in a particular direction. Zoom I have working but it would make sense to have it integrated with the control and working as you would expect on something like googlemaps.

V nice control though :)

Of course suggestions are always welcome!

GeoMaps example shows how implement Pan (also using mouse drag) and zoom.
