Posted - Mar 20 2017 : 12:52:29 Hi, I have a project I have been working on for three years. Every now and then I make improvements to it. Suddenly it won't compile. Here is the Error message I am getting: [dcc32 Fatal Error] Main.pas(8): F2051 Unit iewords was compiled with a different version of hyiedefs.TMsgLanguageWords When I first discovered this problem I had made only a tiny change and that couldn't have caused this problem. It is possible I have done an update to ImageEn since the last time I ran this project, but I don't think so. I read about this problem on the internet but still cannot find the fix. I am using Delphi XE7. What do I do ? |

Posted - Mar 20 2017 : 14:28:10 It looks like when you reinstalled ImageEn you installed it in a location that was different that your older version. You have two different versions of iewords.dcu in your Delphi folder search path. Delphi is finding a version of iewords compiled with a earlier version of Delphi. Just search your hard drive to remove the duplicate dcu's and rebuild your project and then it should run.
