Posted - May 09 2017 : 05:06:32 Hello,
I have a problem with the print dialog within a 64-Bit WPF-application. The application causes an access violation if the image shall be printed. It is important that the application is running with 64-Bit and not as a 32-Bit application. Furthermore, this problem only occurs within a WPF application and not within a WinForms application. I have attached a test solution that can reproduce the problem. Could you please look into it?
Specs & Information Setup: IEvolution_5.0.0_94371_Setup.exe Used Version of IEvoltuion2.dll: 5.0.0.0 Operating System: Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600) (9600.winblue_ltsb.170204-0600) Language: German (Regional Setting: German)

Posted - Feb 13 2018 : 07:17:42 Hello Nigel. My name is Heinz-Jürgen Lücke, i am writing this as a subsitute for joel.
We are eagerly awaiting a fix for the printing problem .
I would like to know if there is now either a 6.0.X ievolution update release or if it is possible to get the 32-bit beta Version so we can deliver a patch to our customers.
Thanks in advance Heinz-Jürgen Lücke |

Posted - Nov 16 2017 : 03:51:44 The issue is resolved with the beta version. Now you can print and see the preview within the print dialog. We will wait until the release of the beta. Thank you for the support =) |

Posted - Nov 13 2017 : 07:01:19 Sadly, the issue still exists with 6.0. The access violation occurs if I access the print dialog and try to print the current document. Furthermore, the print preview will be empty/white and does not represent the document that shall be printed. The solution from post number 1 can reproduce this issue. Could you please look into that issue once again? Maybe I need to change a flag/parameter so that this access violation does not occur anymore?

Posted - Nov 09 2017 : 06:25:25 Is the issue resolved in any new update/patch? The error still occurs and sadly on more than one workstation. Could you please investigate this issue?
